Sofia developed a love for animals at an early age, when her grandparents let her and her cousins bring found animals to their home to keep or foster. She got her passion for reptiles from her father, who always had iguanas and bearded dragons. In later years, she strived to make a difference in the lives of abandoned animals by volunteering at animal shelters. Her hobbies include hiking, writing poetry, and spending time with her family.
