Heather started her career in veterinary medicine 17 years ago, when she began as a kennel technician (as a high school student), then transitioned into the roles of receptionist, followed by veterinary technician. She started working at Animal Clinic in February of 2018. Heather is currently a member of the ACBA (American Cavy Breeders Association) and is working on breeding and showing Peruvian and Texel guinea pigs. She has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge of exotics here at Animal Clinic. She truly loves seeing all animals, but has found the exotics – i.e., birds, reptiles, and small rodents – to be very interesting and fun to work with. She has four rabbits, a dog, a cat, a fish tank, guinea pigs and a parrotlet bird.
